Bought this as a Christmas gift for my kids. They're using it as their ship in our going on 3-year D&D campaign we play during school breaks. They put it together and they love it.

This thing is so beautiful in person! Easily enough clearance on all layers for minis (both 3d and Arcknight flat plastic minis) with grid already played out, you can get this and play in the same day!Could not recommend this more to anyone who wants to spice up sea travel in their D&D games! Add some miniature canons and you have a full fledged battle ship

Exactly what we needed, I'm running a campaign that's very sea heavy and wanted a ship that would give a little more 3 dimensional fun for fights. I stained mine with some of the minwax wood finishing cloths that are 6 bucks (for a pack of 8) only used 1 cloth to stain the whole thing. I may also add some rigging/sails at some point as well for a little more fun. Looking forward to using it this weekend for our first session.

Only minor difficulties for a first-time wooden model builder, mostly just with the stairs. Zero glue required but I used a little bit of super glue on the support beams just for extra security, but totally unnecessary. Instructions are easy enough. And it's surprisingly sturdy (especially with my clumsy hands.) And GREAT size too, perfect for D&D! Super excited to reveal it to my players this week, it's going to be a crowd pleaser for sure!

I chose this one over the prettier one because it was wood and not paper. The wood is a little on the thin side but it will suffice. Painting it maybe a challenge because I do like the squares to denote distance for miniatures. The illustrations for beds, tables etc are much too small, but that is a minor thing. Over all I really like it and would recommend the purchase.

I bought this for my DM’s birthday since we were going to be doing airship travel a lot. He was quite excited and assembled it right away especially since it was going to be needed for that session. It went together fairly easy. Seems sturdy enough and well mapped out

So with the release of Ghosts of Saltmarsh I really wanted a ship model for my adventurers to use. However, most of what I saw on Etsy and elsewhere was REALLY expensive. I mean, they looked great, but really expensive. Also they looked hard to carry and store. This was the perfect solution. Affordable, light and easy to take apart and put back together. It's a good size to be an adventurer ship. Made of balsa wood that snaps together and stays with some included dowels. I like that it's printed with grids, making movement easier. Highly recommend.
